About the Highway Inn, Burford
Our Historic Coaching Inn:
The Highway originally dates back to 1480. For 16 years prior to 2006 the Highway hadn’t traded as an Inn but as a needlecraft shop and a B&B. The building was lovingly restored and reopened as an Inn by a previous owner some 11 years ago.
The Inn received its' first recognised rating in May 2008 from Visit Britain and was rated 4 star, which was followed by a recommendation in the Michelin guide the following year and has since been recommended in numerous other publications.

"Family get together"- Gorgeous wee hotel in the vey picturesque village of Burford in the Cotswolds. Had a fantastic 2 nights here including big family get together and meal. Delicious food and great service. Every dish was lovely, and Scott and the gang could not have been more helpful. All the family agree, we would visit again.
